Having learned from and observed some of the best teachers in traditional music, Rose brings skill, warmth, and sensitivity to her teaching.
She pulls from her wide repertoire of New England, French Canadian, and Irish music, diving into the intricacies of style and technique, exploring the possibilities for harmonizing and arranging, and locking into the rhythm of groovy old tunes.
She has taught workshops, ensemble classes, and private lessons at camps and festivals, as a Youth Leader with Young Tradition Vermont, and at the Brattleboro Music Center.
She offers fiddle lessons for teens and adults, as well as fiddle, song, and dance workshops. She is based in Western Massachusetts.
